Every game here runs in your browser with Filecoin Onchain Cloud as the
only backend. Moves are signed JSON pieces in data sets; boards are a
deterministic fold over them. No server, no database, nothing to take down.
Two players, two wallets, two data sets. Connect a wallet on Filecoin
calibration once (about three minutes and three or four signatures); after that a
short-lived AddPieces-only session key signs your moves. Your opponent is found
from chain events, so the page carries no key of anyone's. Anyone with an invite
link can watch without a wallet. Moves settle in about a minute.
Seven columns, six rows, four in a row wins. Same wallet, same session
key, same rules underneath: your discs settle in your data set, your opponent's in
theirs, and both pages fold both. Red is the creator, Yellow joins.
One 64 by 64 canvas for everyone. Each pixel is a signed piece in the arcade's
paint data set; a contract lets every painter place one pixel every couple of minutes from
a daily budget the arcade funds, and the highest piece id wins a cell. Slow enough that
every pixel is a decision.
A coin is a 0.01 USDFC deposit from your wallet into the jukebox's till, its own
Filecoin Pay account. A pick is a piece your wallet signs. Every
listener folds the same queue and plays from the first track they have not heard. YouTube
links and https audio streams; a bar jukebox with no backend, for anyone, anywhere.
A photo album for an event. Every contributor stores their photos in the data set
their own wallet pays for, encrypted in the browser before upload; only people holding the album's
access key can see them, or only the people you approve by wallet, whom you can also remove. Nothing
is ever decrypted anywhere but in your browser.
The same corgi, pointed at the arcade's own account: the one that pays for every
guest chat post, pixel, and jukebox pick on this site. Its life is the arcade's runway;
feeding it keeps the free lanes open.
A lobby room and a room per game. Players post into the data set their
wallet pays for; anyone else posts as a guest into the arcade's data set, which a
contract lets each guest write to once every couple of minutes, from a budget the
arcade funds. Every reader folds every data set. About a minute per post.
A dog whose life is the real funding runway of its own Filecoin storage.
Feeding it is a USDFC deposit into its account, in your name, on-chain. Money keeps
it alive; only distinct people keep it happy. Feed it enough and you adopt a corgi
of your own in the park.
How to play
Get a browser wallet with a calibration account holding a little tFIL and at
least 5 USDFC: tFIL faucet,
USDFC faucet.
Open a game, press "connect wallet to play", approve the prompts.
Create a game and share the link, or open a link you were sent and join.
Under the hood
Your wallet pays for your own writes; the other player pays for theirs.
Ordering across data sets uses only the chain-assigned piece id inside each
author's own data set plus signed hash links, so nobody can steal a seat or take a
move back after the reply.
Discovery reads PieceAdded events from the chain; no lobby server, no publisher key.
